What is Goldilocks planet?

Is there a planet called Goldilocks?

A Goldilocks planet, also known as a “habitable zone” or “circumstellar habitable zone,” is a region in a star system where a planet is located in just the right location for liquid water to exist on the planet’s surface. This is the area in which temperatures are neither too hot nor too cold, but instead “just right” for liquid water to exist (Lammer, 2016). This region is also known as the “habitable zone” since it provides the necessary conditions for life. The Goldilocks planet concept has been around since the late 1950s and has been used by NASA and other space agencies since then to identify and study planets that may be suitable for life (Kane & Gelino, 2019). Goldilocks planets must not only have the ideal temperature for liquid, but also the right atmosphere, right amount, right chemistry and right amount energy from their star. For a planet that is hospitable, it must have all of these conditions. Astronomers are now able to find hundreds of ex…
