The Impact of CHECH on the Environment

The Environmental Impact of CHECH

Due to climate change, climate change is now a major global concern. Climate change has been reflected in extreme weather, increasing sea levels and an increase in temperatures. There are many strategies that governments and other organizations have devised to mitigate the impacts of global warming. Clean Heat and Energy for Cities and Homes, (CHECH), is an example of one such strategy. The CHECH program is designed to supply clean, affordable and efficient energy for cities and their residents. It was created to encourage the use renewable energy sources like wind, solar and geothermal. Incentives are provided to promote the use of renewable energy sources such as solar panels, fuel cells and solar panels. It has been proven that clean energy technologies have positive effects on the environment. Renewable energy reduces pollution from burning fossil fuels, and also reduces carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere (International Energy Agency 2020). The use of renewable energy sources is a better and more sustainable alternative to traditional fossil fuels.
