The ability to personalize products and services can be used to suit the needs or preferences of customers. A retail shop could look at customer purchases to suggest tailored products, while a bank might offer personalized financial planning services that are tailored for customers based on their unique financial circumstances. Personalized service delivery is a great way to save costs and increase efficiency. A case study published in the Journal of Services Marketing in 2021 found that a healthcare organization was able to reduce patient wait times and improve resource allocation by implementing a personalized appointment scheduling system (Park & Kim, 2021).
